Current Volunteer Opportunities:
Bench Repairs: Kiwanis is collaborating with the Northfield Township DDA to renovate the Anchor Benches in downtown Whitmore Lake. The DDA is providing the material...Kiwanis will provide the muscle. That's where you come in...Kiwanis just needs one weekend! They are thinking this event will be the 2nd or 3rd weekend in June.

On-going - Senior Nutrition Program Volunteers: Senior Lunches are served at the Community Center on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday each week. Volunteers are always welcomed to help set-up for and serve the lunches, and to clean-up after.
On-Going - Meals-On-Wheels Drivers: We are working hard to get the Home Delivery portion of the Senior Lunch Program started. Our ONLY OBSTACLE is finding enough volunteer drivers to make the program run smoothly! Meals will be delivered on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Must have a valid driver's license and good driving record. If you can spare a couple hours of your time on even one of these three days, and would like to make a difference in home-bound seniors’ lives, please let us know ASAP!
On-Going - Recycled Greeting Cards: The Community Center is accumulating a large stash of used greeting cards! If you are interested in creating beautiful new cards from old, we need your help. The “recycled” cards are then sold to help fund projects and programs here at the Community Center. Call Tami at 734-449-2295 for more information or to offer your help.
