Message from the Superintendent

Dear Abington School Community:

I am pleased to announce that the school construction project has gone so well that it is anticipated we will begin the 2017-18 school year in the new building. This means exciting changes and improvements across all grade levels for all students.

Please click here for the new start and end times for all schools.

Grades PreK-12 will benefit from improved technology resources and spaces for learning.

Pre-Kindergarten: Students will be in the new state-of-the-art school building, with their own learning area. Start and end times will be: morning session: 8:30 AM - 11:10 AM, afternoon session: 11:50 AM - 2:30 PM.

Grades K-2: Students will be at the Beaver Brook Elementary School. This will reduce the student population in what is now an overcrowded grades 1-4 building. Improved technology resources will be added from across the district. Start and end times will be: K-2: 9:15 AM - 3:20 PM, Half-day kindergarten: morning session: 9:15 AM - 11:55 AM, afternoon session: 12:30 PM - 3:20 PM.
